FOUNDER - PHOTOGRAPHER

I always joke around and say you can throw a rock and find a good photographer, but what makes us different is that in addition to amazing photos, is an equally great experience. I created “This Insane Idea” with the vision and goal that anything is possible. Ive had a passion for photography my entire life, capturing moments around me in the most authentic ways until one day my wife told me “go full time”, it was insane. I fell in love with wedding photography and the emotion it brought out for everyone involved. Family, love, laughter and memories are four things that I think about on a daily basis, I’m practically addicted. When I’m not obsessing over wedding photography I am spending time with my wife, two sons Bre & Mylo and talking husky Moon. We look forward to capturing your day.

Nice to meet you! If you’re wondering who is helping you with your timeline, it’s me! I have been in the hospitality industry for 20 years and have managed hundreds of weddings along the way. Helping brides plan their perfect day to be relaxing and fun is my specialty. I will chat with you weeks before your wedding day to ensure you have enough time to capture the photos you’ve dreamed of. I am here for you every step of the way and can’t wait to meet you on the day of your wedding! A little about me, I am Marks wife, Mom to Bre & Mylo, and content creator / social media manager for @thehuskymoon. I’m pretty much obsessed with getting sh!t done around here 😂

Sawadee krup! (Hello 🙏🏼 in Thai) The name is Siritham, pronounced “Sear-it-tom”. But you can just call me Tom. I’m Thai and proud of it! Growing up, I’ve always wanted to do something that was fulfilling and meaningful. Becoming a monk taught me a lot! They say, to live a long and joyous life, you must find out what you’re passionate about and how you can use it to be of service to people. Life’s all about the people you meet, and the experiences you go through. I like being in spaces where I see or feel love, generosity, and happiness passing between people. Being the sappy person I am, is why I find so much joy in wedding photography. Capturing these fleeting moments, feelings, and emotions for you and your loved ones is important to me. When I’m not documenting a love story you can find me traveling near and far just for good food, and documenting it along the way.

I find beauty in the little things, which sparked my interest in photography at a young age. I love capturing details, raw emotions and candid moments. My favorite part of photography is turning everyday scenes into works of art. I love working with light, colors and architecture to make a feeling come to life. Capturing wedding days is so special to me. I feel like an extension to your wedding day and I love knowing my work of art will be something you will cherish forever. When I’m not taking pictures, you’ll most likely find me at an art museum, getting lost in a scenic forest or kayaking up a river. Fun fact, I am currently turning an old van into a modern-day hippy camper, yes I am documenting this process 😁

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Hi, I’m Josh! I got into cinematography in 2015 when I began filming small projects for friends. I’ve loved it ever since! It’s amazing to be able to make every couple feel like their big day is a movie. It’s so cool capturing love in such a pure form while finding a special style for each couple based on who they are together. Cinematography preserves memories in such a way that they can never fade, never be misremembered or forgotten. I love it because it’s such a meaningful creative outlet. Beyond filmmaking I am a husband, and girl dad. I love spending time with my family and our two pups! I love adventure and enjoy snowboarding, hiking, biking and fishing.

As a lifelong lover of storytelling, I found my passion for wedding videography by chance when a friend couldn't make it to a wedding and asked me to step in. But it didn't take long for me to realize that this was my true calling. For me, there is nothing more fulfilling than capturing the love and emotion of a couple's big day on film. I am based in New Jersey, but I am always eager to travel and capture destination weddings as well. I believe that every love story is unique and special, and it is my privilege to be able to tell those stories through my videography. I take great care in creating films that are not just a documentation of a couple's wedding day, but a true reflection of the love they share. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with so many amazing couples, and I would be thrilled to be a part of your special day and tell your love story through film.
