Meet Your Storytellers

We’re Mark and Brittany, a husband and wife team who have photographed over 400 love stories in a unique way. Brittany, the organization through the chaos, and Mark capturing every moment in between. After living our own wedding day and seeing how quickly it all flies by, we knew we wanted to help other couples hold on to that feeling. This is how our INSANE idea became. Working together to make wedding days more about being present. Over the years, we’ve learned that it’s not just the big moments that matter. It’s the quiet ones. The breath before you walk down the aisle. The sound of your friends laughing in the background. The glance that says everything without a single word. Our work is about preserving the emotion behind it all. The way your day felt, through artful storytelling, a calm presence, and a deep respect for your love. We bring our own story into every wedding too: two people who believe in love, in laughter, and in creating something that will outlast us both. This is what we were meant to do. To tell stories that will be remembered, not just for how they looked, but for how they made you feel.

  • FOUNDER - PHOTOGRAPHER

    I always joke around and say you can throw a rock and find a good photographer, but what makes us different is that in addition to amazing photos, is an equally great experience. I created “This Insane Idea” with the vision and goal that anything is possible. Ive had a passion for photography my entire life, capturing moments around me in the most authentic ways until one day my wife told me “go full time”, it was insane. I fell in love with wedding photography and the emotion it brought out for everyone involved. Family, love, laughter and memories are four things that I think about on a daily basis, I’m practically addicted. When I’m not obsessing over wedding photography I am spending time with my wife, two sons Bre & Mylo and talking husky Moon. We look forward to capturing your day

    If you’re wondering who is helping you plan all things wedding day, its me! Consider me your professional bridesmaid! I have been in the hospitality industry for 20 years and have managed hundreds of weddings along the way. Helping brides plan their perfect day to be relaxing and fun is my specialty. I will be here for you from the moment you say “I do” to This Insane Idea, helping make your wedding dreams come true. I also am very passionate about content creation, it’s actually our second business with our dogs! I have loved bringing both of my skills together on your day!

    A little about me, I am Marks wife, Mom to Bre & Mylo, and content creator / social media manager for @thehuskymoon. I’m pretty much obsessed with getting sh!t done around here 😂

  • PHOTOGRAPHER II

    Sawadee krup! (Hello 🙏🏼 in Thai) The name is Siritham, pronounced “Sear-it-tom”. But you can just call me Tom. I’m Thai and proud of it! Growing up, I’ve always wanted to do something that was fulfilling and meaningful. Becoming a monk taught me a lot! They say, to live a long and joyous life, you must find out what you’re passionate about and how you can use it to be of service to people. Life’s all about the people you meet, and the experiences you go through. I like being in spaces where I see or feel love, generosity, and happiness passing between people. Being the sappy person I am, is why I find so much joy in wedding photography. Capturing these fleeting moments, feelings, and emotions for you and your loved ones is important to me. When I’m not documenting a love story you can find me traveling near and far just for good food, and documenting it along the way.
