Brittany and Connor’s wedding day felt exactly like them: relaxed, thoughtful, and full of heart. Hosted at Cross & Orange in Asbury Park, their celebration leaned into everything they love about the town, good food, great music, and being surrounded by the people who matter most.

Their story started on Bumble in Jersey City, where casual dates quickly turned into something more meaningful. From discovering favorite restaurants to bonding over music and simple comforts, their connection grew naturally. That same ease carried through every part of their wedding day.

Connor proposed at Van Vorst Park, a place already woven into their relationship. With Brittany’s sister quietly nearby to capture the moment and a celebration at the restaurant where they had their first date, the proposal was intimate, personal, and perfectly them.

When it came time to choose a venue, Asbury Park felt like home. Cross & Orange checked every box: warm, welcoming, flexible, and unfussy in the best way. It allowed the day to flow effortlessly, giving Brittany and Connor the space to be present and enjoy every moment with their guests.

One of our favorite parts of the day was their first dance. Instead of a traditional slow song, they surprised everyone with a jazz-inspired version of “Your Song,” complete with choreography they learned together beforehand. It was joyful, unexpected, and had the entire room smiling.

Brittany wore a Jenny Yoo gown customized with soft, draped sleeves that moved beautifully throughout the day. Connor’s green linen-blend suit felt modern and relaxed, perfectly suited for a summer celebration by the shore. The bridesmaids wore seaglass dresses that tied everything together without feeling overly styled.

What stood out most wasn’t any single detail, but how intentional the day felt. Brittany and Connor planned everything together, and it showed. The result was a wedding that felt balanced, authentic, and deeply personal.

After the celebration, they headed to Riviera Maya, Mexico, for a honeymoon focused on slowing down, reconnecting, and soaking it all in, the perfect close to an unforgettable chapter.
