Why I Still Shoot Film
Film has a way of making me slow down. Every frame matters, so I'm constantly looking for the moments that actually mean something instead of just taking more photos.
I love the way film renders light, color, and emotion. It's imperfect in all the right ways, and that's exactly what makes it beautiful. Years from now, I want your photos to feel just as timeless as the memories themselves.
Throughout your wedding day, I photograph on both digital and film. I primarily shoot Kodak Portra 400 and Portra 800 using my Canon EOS-1V, one of my favorite cameras ever made. It's not about being trendy or nostalgic. I simply love the process, and I believe there's still nothing quite like real film.
